The center will allow you 42 absent days in a financial year if you are eligible for a child care subsidy (CCS). If the period is more than 42 days, the center will deny you a subsidy for the extra absent days unless you have valid reasons.

Some valid reasons could be illness (for which you will have to produce a medical certificate), local emergency, temporary closure of the school, or court-ordered shared parenting.
