Holiday Entertaining Made Easy

The Holidays are fast approaching! Soon it will be time to host family, entertain friends, and spend hours on end cooking in the kitchen. Honestly, spending hours in the kitchen doesn’t sound like too much fun to me. While I love to host parties and entertain, I prefer a simpler approach to Holiday entertaining.

When I know that I will be having people over, the first thing I like to do is set up a snack table. If your family is anything like mine, the first question they ask when they arrive to any party is “When will the food be ready”? So to keep the hungry crowd appeased, a snack table is a must!

 

Holiday Snack Table

So if you are like me and need a quick and easy Holiday snack table, head to your local Walmart to pick up all of your supplies. This year, my snack table is loaded with Blue Diamond Snack Almonds.

With three different flavors, there’s something for everyone. They are a great way to pack a mouthwatering twist for your guest’s snacking enjoyment. I picked up all three flavors: Sriracha, Wasabi & Soy, and Salt and Vinegar, in order to give my guests a few different options to choose from.

Not only are these super simple to put on my snack table, I also feel good doing it. These almonds are certified by the American Heart Association as a Heart Healthy Food. Get Holiday Ready

If you really want Holiday entertaining made easy, set up a super simple  Holiday snack table. You can pick up cute holiday decor from Walmart, and create a table that will catch everyone’s attention.

I used Fall themed bowls to display the almonds along with some simple faux leaves to give the table a more elevated appearance.

Stick with a color theme! You don’t want it to be too overwhelming to the eye, so stick with a few basic colors in the same color family. For this fall spread, I stuck with oranges and reds with a bit of white to help keep it light.

Once your table is set up, you are ready to entertain! Guests can grab handfuls of Blue Diamond Snack Almond at their leisure, keeping them from asking when the rest of the food will be ready and letting them enjoy mingling free of hunger.

Toys for Tots

If y’all have been around here since the beginning, you already know that I am a huge supporter of kids’ charities. I used to volunteer as a Guardian Ad Litem and my kids and I donate to different local charities year round.

Holiday season is a time for giving, and Blue Diamond is getting right into the Holiday giving spirit. They are giving a portion of their sales this season to Toys for Tots. This makes me so excited. Not only can I grab some great snacks for my Holiday snack table, but I can also feel good that a portion of my money is going to an excellent charity.
