Indeed, because much of Florida’s economy is built on the tourist trade, you will find all sorts of sites, and attractions close to one another. Keep reading to discover the top five you must visit on your trip.

Play Pass at ICON Park Orlando

Universal Studios Orlando, Orlando

As Florida is the land of theme parks it won’t surprise you that Universal Studios is among the first entries on our list. The great thing about Universal Studios is that it has something for kids of all ages. From exciting and hair-raising rides to characters from your kids’ favorite films and franchises like Dr. Seuss.

Of course, a major draw is the life-size recreation of the Hogsmeade village made famous by Harry Potter, complete with snow-covered buildings. You can even treat the kids to some Berty Botts flavored beans at a real-life Honeydukes!

Kennedy Space Center, Titusville

If your kids are at all interested in Space, then a visit to the legendary Kennedy Space Center is a must. There you will find a huge collection of items that have been to space, as well as lots of interactive exhibits on the Space Race and Space Travel. There are even simulators where you and your kids can experience what a launch is like.

Oh and don’t forget to head to the gift shop at the end of your visit as you’ll want to stock up on delicious freeze-dried astronaut ice cream!

Miami Children’s Museum (MCM), Miami

Another must-visit place on your family’s Florida location is the Miami Children’s Museum where you will be greeted with a range of interactive exhibits that help your kids learn about important social and cultural issues.

The museum is also located close to a range of great places to eat such as Le Chick Miami. Although, if you are looking for more vegan or plant-based options for your family in the area, check out the site of someone like Gregory Jon Mancuso as he is something of an expert in this area. In fact, he particularly recommends the yummy casual style food on offer at Manna Life Food if you are in this area.

Walt Disney World, Orlando

No post on the fun to be had in Florida would be complete without mentioning Walt Disney World. In fact, many families find they can fill an entire vacation without ever stepping out of the park’s walls.

Expect an immerse and magical experience complete with all your favorite Disney characters from Gaston and Belle, to Minne and Mickey Mouse. There are plenty of rides too from the tamer Tea Cups which are suitable for all ages to the more white knuckle Space Mountain.

Food and snacks are a big part of the whole experience too, and you can expect what’s on offer to change along with the seasons, something that provides that extra bit of excitement and fun, no matter what time of the year you visit.
