What do I get my one year old for Christmas? I mean, he is so young that he has no idea what is going on and would probably be content with a big box. The issue is that in order to keep Christmas magical for my 4 year old, the one year old has to get at least a few gifts. especially from Santa. I mean, we can’t have her asking why Santa got her something and her brother got nothing. Shopping for Christmas Gifts for one year olds can be a pain, but there are a few really nice toys that can not only be fun, but educational as well.

What To Get A One Year Old For Christmas
Christmas time is so much fun when you have kids, but stressful at the same time. It is so fun to see them open their presents, but deciding what to get can be such a pain! My daughter is pretty easy. She is obsessed with My Little Pony so anything Pony or Unicorn is a winner. My son on the other hand, not so easy. He is one, so he isn’t really “into” anything. Personally, I would probably just get empty boxes and water bottles, but we will be getting him a few gifts to keep the magic of Christmas alive. I love a good educational gift, and one that will last a year or more as well. So if you are indecisive about what to get your one year old for Christmas, maybe some of these can help inspire you!
Mega blocks make awesome gifts. We got some for my daughter when she was little, along with a table, and she still plays with them at 4 years old. My one year old loves them too so these are really perfect Christmas gifts.
Some of my favorite kid’s toys are made by Vtech. They have a lot of great educational toys that are not only age appropriate for one year-olds, but also grow with them and will be relevant for years.
My one year old already loves playing with his sister’s play kitchen. They are really great, gender neutral, toys that will last forever if taken care of. My daughter still plays with hers as well as my son, so needless to say these types of toys will be fun for the kids for a few years and can be handed down.
There are a few other toys out there that would make perfect gifts for a one year old. Theses are not only fun, but can be educational and help with motor skills as well.
So if you have a one year old, what do you plan on getting him or her for Christmas this year? Hopefully some of these ideas are helpful, and don’t forget to follow me on Facebook and Twitter to keep updated on any killer flash sales for Cyber Monday!
