Seventh Generation: Baby Line Review

Since having kids, I have become more aware of what is in my household cleaners. I had started using Seventh Generation cleaning products soon after my daughter was born. They cleaned well and I didn’t have to worry as much if my daughter were to get some on her. I have been using Seventh Generation products for a while,    but just realized that they had baby products. I am not sure if these are new or if I just never noticed before. When I had signed up for their Generation Good page, I signed up to receive coupons and samples. I recently got my little sample packet in the mail and soon after trying the products, I went out and purchased my own!

The Diapers

First thing I noticed was how adorable the diapers were. They come with super cute prints, and who doesn’t want an adorable poop receptacle? Aside from being cute, they were quite soft as well. Not the softest disposable diapers I have ever used, but not paper thin and rough by any means. My son is a pretty heavy wetter, so these diapers truly got put to the test. After using them for about a week or so, we had no leaks or blowouts! We would use them at night time and he would wake up with a full diaper, but no leaks! I was pleasantly surprised at how well Seventh Generation diapers held up to my heavy wetter.

My boy doesn’t have the most sensitive skin, but he can get a little red and irritated from some diapers and wipes. I am happy to say that there has been no irritation with the Seventh Generation diapers. I think these would be perfect for babies with sensitive skin. The price point is right in line with the leading brands, so you aren’t going to be paying a bunch more than you were before!

The Wipes

The little sample packet I got had two wipes in it. Though it wasn’t very much, I enjoyed them enough to purchase my own. They were really thick, much thicker than my Huggies wipes that I normally use. The Seventh Generation Wipes were also extremely soft, especially in comparison to Pampers wipes. My favorite part about them was how wet they were. I hate when a wipe is dry feeling! These were nice and wet and it only took one to get the job done! After a week I didn’t notice any sensitivity or redness, so I think we might have ourselves a winner!

Seventh Generation wipes are also fun to play with

All in all I have been enjoying the Seventh Generation diapers and wipes. I will most likely continue to repurchase them on my own. The Generation Good program is really awesome and I highly recommend that you join it! They let you know when there is coupons or samples available, and you don’t even need to be a blogger!

Although my girls are out of diapers, I still keep a pack of wipes around because you never know when you’l need them. So I’ll have to try the Seventh Generation brand the next time I need more. And from your picture, it looks like your son likes them too. Cutie!

We love Seventh Generation products. My kids are to old to be using diaper wipes on, but we do keep them around the house and in the car for little messes.

My son has pretty sensitive skin and has reactions to everything other than huggies. We use the huggies natural care wipes and like that there aren’t a bunch of chemicals. How do these compare in price? I’ll certainly take a look into these.

I have been seeing this brand more and more in stores near me but I have never tried them out. My daughter has sensitive skin so I’m glad to know these may be safe to use with her! Thanks 🙂

These sound like great products. I so prefer thicker wipes…thin cheap ones are so rubbish and there is nothing worse than when they disintegrate when you are trying to use them 😱

I’ve used Seventh Generation for other home goods and they’re great! I nannied for a family who used 7th Gen. baby diapers, they were perfect for the twins since they had extremely sensitive skin and they’re skin didn’t get red or dry
